To logout of all online services, you must quit your web browser.

macOS: Choose "Quit" from the Application Menu.
Windows: Close every browser window.

Why do I have to quit my browser?

Didn't I just log out? Well, not completely. Because we offer so many services with one login, you may still be logged into one of them. Quitting your browser logs you out of all the services at once, so you don't have to go to each service and log out individually. This prevents the next person who uses this computer from accessing your private information.

We understand that in certain situations, quitting your browser immediately after logging out may not be convenient. We still recommend that you quit immediately, but if any of the following cases apply, you may consider quitting once you've completed your session:

You are working on a secure home or office computer and you understand that some of your sessions are still active, which is OK, because this is not a public computer.
You are a "power" user who has 20 tabs open and quitting your browser is a huge annoyance. "Is it really necessary?" you ask with a grimmace. So long as you understand that fully logging out requires you to quit your browser, you can choose the right time to do that.

Remember: You are not fully logged out until you quit your browser.
